Did you know that in Utah, May is Bike Month? It’ll be really cool and awesome if we could organize something like that in the area; maybe start small; start with just 20 to 30 people. Okay, maybe I don’t know that many people in the neighborhood. So we start with just a few people… Me and that
kid next door.
I’m sure I can think of more. Later… this week… okay, maybe next few months…
Mental note: get to know more people in the neighborhood.
In my attempt to support green transportation; I went to the cyber cafe by bike, around 6pm today, to print some files. It was perfectly planned.
Think I’ve probably burnt like a kazillion calories. Or not! I think I have cycled >10 km. Okay maybe not that far…
Cycling in Malaysia is a challenge. One of em is security. The road is too narrow and everyone drives really fast. I guess a bicycle lane would be helpful. But let’s get real, we can’t even get pedestrian walk, let alone bicycle lane!

So, my cycling lesson today:
- Cycle at night or very early in the morning when the air is cool and fresh
- Bring a bottle of water
- Get a helmet and SPF 100++ sun block
- Wear something appropriate (no birthday suit please!)
